NMKC Pray with Project Defending Life after Arson

Albuquerque-area Knights and Sir Knights turned out to support a prayer rally held on Saturday morning, November 26th beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Project Defending Life office in Albuquerque on San Mateo NE, the interior of which was set afire by an arsonist in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 23rd. About 35 – 40 Knights and Sir Knights showed up to participate in the rally to include a small color guard from Our Lady of the Incarnation Assembly #3309 with assistance from A.M. Mandalari Assembly #682. Dominique Davis, Director of Client Services at PDL and an unidentified counselor spoke and said prayers at the hour-long event. Former District Master Leo Pilat, IPSD Richard Espinosa, Distract Master Richard Favela, DD#4 Rudy Archibeque, State Secretary John Brault and State Treasurer Daniel Vigil were among the brother Knights who attended. Following the prayer rally, Knights were given a tour of the inside of the PDL building to survey the extent of the damage done by the arsonist.
